Status Orgasmus

Status orgasmus was once defined by Masters and Johnson as orgasms lasting 10 sec to 60 sec. They reported a woman having a continuous orgasm lasting for 43 seconds.  However, more recently scientific research on female sexuality showed that such duration is very short for a real status orgasmus. In status orgasmus, both pelvic and pudental nerves take action, as well as clitoral, G-Spot, Vaginal, Uteral cervix stimulation contributes and the female has an orgasm duration of from minutes to more than an hour. During the status generally 20 to 100 minor orgasms are experienced in a couple of hours.

Tantric techniques and Taoist ways of love once defined such experiences in the Eastern literature. It is possible for some women to achieve the status orgasmus, a train of tetanic and orgasmic contractions that last for very long, under the conditions of continued stimulation. For such a phenomenon, the male partner should not be a premature ejaculator and must continue intercourse for more than an hour or two. This is not due to any pathology in the brain or psyche, but possible in some women. It is not either due to a bipolar disorder or axis II personality disorder.

According to Kinsey Report, the average coital duration for American males was two minutes in 1950s. This duration became to be 2 min to 5 min according to the reports in 1970s. After the books of writers like Mantak Chia, the American male realized that it is possible to continue coitus for tens of minutes or even hours. Today, the average is still 5 to 10 minutes, however the women should train their partners about Taoist or Tantric ways of love to maintain the erection for more than hour. It is possible for women to train their male partners under specific conditions.

After the studies of Brauers (ESO Ecstacy Program) and Patricia Taylor (Expanded Orgasm), it is understood that this duration can be longer in status orgasmus. During status orgasmus there can be 10 to 15 contractions or orgasms, which can intermittently continue for a very long time as long as more than an hour. In the cases of extreme status orgasmus, women can experience many minor orgasms (the number may change from 50 to 100) in a couple of hours. This can be achieved by  the continued stimulation (clitoral or intercourse), learned techniques, PC muscle control, G-Spot stimulation and enhanced sexual response, that can be learned through some training (such as Taoist love making, Tantric Sex or other) and elevated consciousness of body/mind (by promoting the sexual mind).

Many hypersexual women can achieve status orgasmus. They can continue to have blended orgasms which can turn into status orgasmus. Blended orgasms result by the stimulation of both clitoris and G-spot or vaginal walls. Blended orgasms are unified form of clitoral and vaginal orgasms. The women describe blended orgasms being very satisfactory than clitoral or vaginal alone. Both pudental and pelvic nerves control blended orgasms and status orgasmus.

The frequency of status orgasmus in the female population is not known. An estimate is that 10-12 % of women can experience status orgasmus if they can enhance their sexual responsiveness. Status orgasmus is not a pathological phenomenon, neither it is caused by a mental disorder. Eastern literature describes such ecstatic climaxes. The women who can experience blended orgasms and status orgasmus may become -so called- hypersexual, which not a pathological behavior, but a natural improvement of female orgasmic response. The number of  orgasms may change from person to person. It is estimated that during a long love making session, a woman may have as much as 50 (or even more) minor orgasms in a couple of hours. This can be enhanced or blocked by some drugs.

For attaining status orgasmus, male partner should maintain erection for a very long time, having coitus without ejaculation and should know the certian techniques to stimulate women's pleasure centers and/or orgasm triggering body locations (e.g. clitoris, G-Spot, A-Spot, brain etc.)  This seems to be a myth in Western culture today, because the average coitus duration in males is estimated to be 5-15 minutes and many males are not trained well enough to give pleasure to women (for instance many do not know how to perform cunnilingus properly) while they think that the knowledge for making love comes from inside, but not a learned phenomenon. Males though can be trained to become sexually more responsive, through some exercises and some education, so that they can maintain an erection for more than an hour to satify a woman and use other Tantric techniques. Training of PC muscles in both males and females improve their sexual responsiveness and capability to maintain coitus for a long time. It is known from Kegel’s time that women who train their PC-muscles become more orgasmic.

It is not known whether attaining status orgasmus has anything to do with the personal anatomy and physiology (such as nervous innervation, the density of paccini receptors in the clitoris, G-spot responsiveness), however it is for sure that new horizons will be discovered in female sexual behavior in this century. 100 years ago, it was very difficult to find orgasmic women in many of the societies, today every woman is questioning her sexual capabilities, thanks to the works of some scientists (such as Master’s and Johnson,  Whipple, Ladas, Perry, Kaplan, Zilbergeld, Taylor, Brauer etc.) today we can understand the limits of female orgasm much better. Each time we discover a limit in female sexuality, we realize that it is becoming more limitless....
